Outing with LF Stores

LF The Brand

“LF has become the must have destination for many fashionistas who crave upcoming trends on the fashion circuit.”

When I was in college, I used to go into Harvard Square all the time; At least once a day. I was only a two minute walk away and in order to go anywhere I had to walk though Harvard Square to get to the train. On the way, I would always obsess over the outfits styled in the window at LF. Their manis were always dressed and accessorized perfectly. There would be about three of four outfits and I swear each mani had a their own personality, but they all matched and complemented each other. Almost like four friends going to the same event, but of course no two people are the same. You had your sporty, girly, edgy and your simple styled friend.

Who would have thought that two years later, I would be collaborating with LF as a blogger getting styled by and photographed by their amazing styling team! I was not expecting this collaboration at all. I guess I can thank locking my keys in my car for this opportunity! A few weeks ago, I went to Harvard square cause I wanted to take some pictures at a specific location. When I got there and parked, I locked my keys in my car and had to wait an hour for my insurance company to come and open my door for me. During that time, I decided to shop around to kill some time. Of course I went into LF to look around and thats when I met Molly! After chatting in the store for a while, and emailing back and forth when I got home we planned a day where I could come in and take some pictures with them, I wanted to learn more about the brand. What made them so popular and desirable?

LF Is known for their “on edge” designs and unique statement pieces. Im pretty sure we all remember their jeans (or lack of) that were trending during Coachella season? Only the seams are left on these cur out jeans. Of course these aren’t your every day pair of jeans but they were the perfect piece if you were intending to slay at Coachella!

Now even though they have “out there” pieces, They still manage to keep a toned down, defused look. You won’t see any crazy colors, or patterns. Yes they may have a statement piece styled but yet, they don’t overload the look with too manytrendy pieces. This is key! You can still be trendy while being unique and different and this is why I enjoy their stuff. LF is geared towards girls who DARE to be different! There’s a simplicity to their madness which makes them desirable, trendy, and diverse. I think its safe to say that no matter what your preferred style is, you can find and fall in love with a piece from at least one of their many collections. LF is currently backing five different collections and when you enter their store you can easily point out and navigate the set up to find each one of these collections. I was lucky enough to be styled In three out of the five and will be sharing those with you in this post!!

As I said, I was styled in only three out go the five collections featured currently. The other two collections include the Hawaiian Collection and the Camo Collection. If I had to chose, I would say my top two would be the the Cargo collection and the Mens Wear Collection. SIDE NOTE: Im also very obsessed with thier individualized, one of a kind band tees and Harley Davidson attire! (ill probably be going back in soon to purchase on of those bad boys!)

Spending the day with the LF styling team in Harvard Square was a blast. I want to thank them and the management team for inviting me and styling me in some of their best pieces! I hope we can work together again in the future. I’ll see you soon!!

XoXo
