FUN FACT: Sometimes my best outfits are the ones I throw together 15 minutes before its time to leave the house! There’s no planning, no inspiration, no “night before picking”, nothing. I really hate when I have “Style Block” and when I feel like I have nothing to wear! You know that weird feeling when you have so many things in your closet but have NOTHING to wear? Yeah, that’s how you know you have come down with a serious case of “style block”. A lot of the times, I get that because I’m just thinking way too hard. Putting together an outfit shouldn’t be that difficult for me. I love doing it! However, just like writers get writers’ block, I get “style block”. It’s a real thing and don’t pretend it’s not.
Now I’m not here to tell you that I have figured out how to help or cure “style block”, or what my ticks are to finding a way out of it. I am actually here with a post in celebration because for about a week, I have had “style block” and today is the day I have finally been healed and come out of this terrible “style coma”. I think the reason for this coma break was the fact that I had about ten to fifteen minutes to throw together an outfit before I had to leave the house. There was no other choice, and I knew I wanted to look good. I had a day full of events and things I needed to get done and I never have the motivation I need unless I look and feel myself!
