The Happy Place
This past week I had the pleasure of being invited to an event at”The Happy Place” at their pop up location in Boston. The event was hosted by Primark and I was invited by Her Campus. This is not a paid post, or any type of sponsorship I have with them to write about my experience. Recently I’ve been thinking that I want to be more open and honest on my blog since it is MY blog. I wanna talk about more of my personal experiences and things I do on the daily, so that’s what im going to do. This week we’ll talk about “The Happy Place”.
I went with my sister, Bryanna, and I think its safe to say we had a really good time. Of course I always love a spot that can offer good photo opportunities, but having good company is always a plus. Primark was a great host as well. They had complementary candy, snacks and goodies for their guests and “The Happy Place” played some great music while we mingled and networked with other bloggers and influencers.
From looking at pictures on the website and scrolling through the hashtags on instagram, I did expect the place to be a lot bigger. In reality, there’s really just one hallway of four small rooms, a cookie themed room, the “upside down” room, a flower room and the ball pen. I know it sounds like a lot but you can actually make it through the whole place in about 10-15 minutes if you didn’t have to wait in long lines to take pictures at each location/room. Im not complaining though! I love the idea and I was able to get some awesome shots.
I had great time over all and I would probably go again. One of my other friends said she went to the the same place when they were in the Toronto area and apparently it wasn’t as great of experience for her. She told me that the place was dirty and the people who worked there weren’t the nicest. Im curious to know if other cities had similar thoughts or if they also enjoyed it like I did. Apparently they have traveling staff too, so I would think that it should be the same each time, but I guess thats not the case.
